The practice has a very active Patient Group representing patients from both Kidderminster and Cookley Surgeries. The range of support work undertaken by the group includes the floor walking service at Aylmer Lodge – recognised as Outstanding by the CQC; supporting Saturday morning flu clinics; updating patients in the surgery and by newsletter; organising Health Events for the local community – see the Dementia Friendly Practice page on this website; and obtaining patients views on the service and future plans.
You can become a committee member or a volunteer – or both – just ask for more information at reception.
If you are looking to apply for medical school joining a Patient Group is an ideal opportunity to experience the work of a local GP practice.
Notes from our Patient Group Meetings are below or if you would like to join us for the next Patient Group meeting to see what we do this will be held at 6:30pm on Wednesday 6 September on the Aylmer Lodge Surgery site. We do hold regular meetings and events at Cookley too and the Patient Group is one organisation serving the whole practice.
We look forward to hearing from you.
