Alcohol Awareness Week 2025

Posted on:

This week (7th – 13th July 2025) is Alcohol Awareness Week. We’re joining the nationwide conversation about our drinking habits and how they can affect our health, relationships, and well-being.

In the UK, alcohol is often part of our culture, from after-work pints or vino, to weekend celebrations, it’s easy to overlook the potential impact of these everyday habits:

🍺 1 in 4 people in the UK drink more than the recommended guidelines.

🍺 It’s estimated that 1 in 10 hospital admissions are alcohol-related.

🍺 Alcohol is linked to over 200 health conditions, including cancer, liver disease, and depression.

This week is not about judgment. It’s about awareness, honesty, and informed choices. Whether you’re looking to cut down, go alcohol-free, or simply learn more, small changes really can make all the difference.
